Informed consent form
The consent form is signed at the hospital on the day of surgery, after talking with the doctor. You can read it here in advance and bring your questions with you. Each hospital has its own wording, so choose the one for where you are being operated on.

What to Expect

- No fasting required - continue taking regular medications
- You will receive detailed wound care instructions after the procedure
- You will receive prescriptions for antibiotic ointment and pain relief
Expected Scar
To achieve optimal medical and cosmetic results, the incision may extend beyond the original lesion. The initial scar will typically be larger than the lesion itself - up to 5 times its size, and in complex closures, even more.
