Insurance & Health Fund Arrangements
Mohs surgery - coverage options through your health fund
Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in the head and neck area is included in the Israeli national health basket. Below you'll find detailed information about coverage through each health fund.
Health Basket
Mohs micrographic surgery for BCC and SCC on the head and neck is covered under the Israeli health basket (סל הבריאות). This means all Israeli residents are entitled to this procedure for eligible diagnoses, regardless of supplemental insurance.
