What Is an ACMS Fellowship?

The American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) offers a 1-2 year fellowship program focused on Mohs micrographic surgery. During the fellowship, physicians perform hundreds of Mohs procedures under close supervision, gaining experience with a wide range of tumor types, anatomic locations, and reconstruction techniques. Dr. Kaplan completed his ACMS-approved fellowship at Skin & Cancer Associates / Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where he performed over 1,000 Mohs procedures. The ACMS fellowship is one of the recognized training pathways for specialization in Mohs surgery.
